Screen real estate on most netbooks is very precious with just the low 1024×600 resolution. Here are 3 quick tips!

Auto-hiding  the task bar helps you get back some viewing area,  just right click on your taskbar, click Properties and then check the “Auto-hide the taskbar” box.

Use a full screen web browser like Google’s Chrome or Hit F11 key to browse full screen on IE/Firefox.

If you use Office 2007, use Control+F1 keys to toggle between hiding the ribbion menu bar.

These tips will help to maximize what you view on screen and minimize scrolling on your netbook screen.
